Greetings and Salutations.
Welcome! Welcome to my blog, welcome to my inner thoughts, welcome to what is hopefully the start of something I can grow and be proud of. You are officially invited to take a front row seat into my musings.
Originally, abstract launch plans were formed in March 2019. Less than one month later, I was let go from my job. Blog plans were put on the back-burner, in order to devote myself to full-time job searching. You know, for “security.”
On the one hand, it worked, and I was able to successfully gain new employment in less than 2 months (before my severance even ran out!). On the other hand, it was a job similar to the one I had been doing for several years, and was looking to transition away from.
Throughout that time, I wrote a lot, just for me, as a way to get thoughts out of my head so that I could (hopefully) stop ruminating over them. Occasionally, other people were invited to read something I was particularly proud of.
This led to an invitation as a guest blogger for an established life coach. Pleased to accept, I was both surprised and flattered at the reception upon publication. The feedback received meant the world to me; many were gracious and kind, but a few reached out personally to share how my words helped them. And in turn, they helped me.
Looking back, that time and energy I had spent job searching should have also been devoted to focusing on what mattered to me: creating something I truly cared about. It took other people’s messages to show me a path important enough to pursue.
Opening up and letting people into my innermost thoughts is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. Way scarier than skydiving or swimming with sharks. But if being honest and vulnerable can help alleviate those feelings for someone else, pushing through the fear proves worth it.
So welcome. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I am nowhere close to where I want to be, but the only way to get there is to simply begin.

I love to read what you write. You’re an incredibly talented writer and I know this will lead to opening other doors in your life. You’ll be amazed by how many people are thinking what you are, but just afraid to put it out there. Reading about someone else often gives people the little push they need to open up themselves. Keep it up, Cousin!
